Minerals and Metals Mane Test

Test, don’t guess. Let’s deep dive your horses nutritional status so we can unlock their utmost potential in soundness, saneness, and performance.

The Minerals and Metals Mane Test is a laboratory test completed at a CLIA-certified laboratory. Simply follow the instructions in the kit to send in your horse's mane sample. You will receive a detailed report of metabolic, functional, and endocrine functions in all phases of a horse’s life process. This test tells us about diet, stress, medications, supplements, toxins, inherited patterns, and even attitude problems.

Did You Know?

  • Most horses with behavior issues are deficient in at least two minerals.

  • Horses with poor muscle development are deficient.

  • Horses with allergies, arthritis, metabolic Issues are usually high in iron?

  • Most horses with poor nutrition lead to expensive maintenance like injections, bone scans, etc.

MASSAGE Therapy

What can massage therapy do for your horse?

Tight, stiff, sore? Whether you have a high performance athlete or a family trail horse, their muscles can start to feel the strain from their workload. This leads to discomfort and irritability.

The Benefits:

  • Reducing muscle stiffness and spasms by dilating blood vessels and increasing blood flow to affected areas.

  • Improving the elasticity and flexibility of muscles by breaking down scar tissue.

  • Decreasing pain through the release of endorphins.

  • Relaxing the horse by creating a sedating effect on the nervous system.

    Regular Maintenance Program:

You’re training hard. Having a professional put hands on your horse regularly provides a good baseline and comparison from month to month. Plus, regular appointments help to maintain your horse’s flexibility, decrease muscle spasm, and reduce the risk injury.

Pain Relief:

Muscle tightness can cause pain. Keeping muscles relaxed with massage helps to counteract that tightness so your horse stays more comfortable.

Rehabilitation:

Frequently, horses during rehabilitation get very tight with a build up of scar tissue. If they are on stall rest, they run the risk of their legs stocking up. Massage works well for breaking up scar tissue, making sure the muscles work correctly without compensating, and promoting blood flow to the legs.
